Food recalls are issued when a product is unsafe or harmful for consumption by certain people. The product is then removed from shelves and customers are urged to return it to their nearest store for a refund.

Waitrose has updated its shrimp food recall.

Shrimp packets are not safe to eat as they may contain raw and uncooked shrimp.

The presence of raw and uncooked shrimp makes this product unsafe to eat, according to the Food Standards Agency, which has posted the food recall on its website.
