Cranswick Country Foods is recalling several products containing chicken because salmonella has been found in some of the chicken used to make these products.
Additional products are being recalled during the investigation.
Cranswick Country Foods are stocked by major retailers such as Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco, M&S and Amazon.
These supermarkets are recalling various sandwiches that include chicken.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued a hazard statement.
“The products listed above may be contaminated with salmonella. Symptoms of salmonella generally include fever, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps.
“The action taken by the Cranswick Country Foods company is to recall the above products. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that carry these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what do. do if they have bought the above products”.
